Do I need an app to use TapTik?
No, TapTik is completely web-based and does neither require any app to set up nor to share your profile. You can register at and do everything in the browser, even on your smartphone or tablet. We recommend the browser on the computer when managing digital cards.
What smartphones are compatible with TapTik technology?
TapTik works on any device that has a browser and can possibly read the .vcf format. Over 90% of all devices worldwide can do this. If you order the NFC card, than all Android and all newer aged iPhones are compatible with our tap feature. For older iPhones we recommending using the QR code feature.
Do I need to register in order to use TapTik? It TapTik NFC card secure? How does TapTik NFC smartcard work?
You must be registered if you want to add and edit your own digital card.
Is TapTik NFC card secure?
We take your privacy and security very seriously. TapTik technology was created only for share, rather than extract information. In addition, there is no financial information stored.
How does TapTik NFC smartcard work?
TapTik smartcards use NFC (Near Field Communication) and QR-Code technology to share your TapTik profile.
Is there a monthly subscription fee?
There is no subscription fee to use with the NFC cards. However for the accounts without NFC cards, it is 2.58 € fee/Month.
